At Mission accomplished Dog Training, we employ a reward based balanced approach to dog training. Our trainer Lucas likes to say 'The way i was raised as a child is how I train my dogs'. We use Positive reinforcement training technique's to teach your dog what we want it to learn. If an unacceptable behavior occurs, and when told to stop the unacceptable behavior, and it continues, then a consequence happens for not complying. It is our job to help our clients understand how to follow through applying both positive and balanced general training technique's correctly effectively and humanely.
So what is reward based balanced training...
The "balanced" part of a reward-based system simply means that we will introduce a dog to corrections once it generalizes a command.
It is important to note that the purpose of a correction in dog training is not to punish a dog for inappropriate or bad behavior, but rather to change a dog's behavior.

We believe that limiting yourself to one specific training protocol is a great dis-service to our dogs. Many dogs we work with come from shelters and rescue organizations. We strive to instill a great foundation of training and obedience skills to help give our dogs a great start at a second chance ( and sometimes 3rd or more) in their life. That's why, at Mission Accomplished Dog training, every training package is customized to the needs of your dog and training goals.
